7 of the Best Laptops for Adobe Creative Cloud in 2022 – Optimized for Creators

If you’re looking for the best laptop for adobe creative cloud, chances are you’re a creator. You want to design, edit videos and pictures, create stunning logo designs or make a certain app’s interface user-friendly. These works are time- and power-consuming, no matter if it’s your brain power or your computer’s.

You already have the brains for it, thankfully, for the computer, I’m here to help you.

You’d need a portable machine having a long-lasting battery with adequate horsepower (CPU), a beautiful anti-glare screen, at least 8 GB RAM, and definitely an SSD over the previous HDD. The presence of a dedicated graphics card should be more than welcomed because the apps do require graphics acceleration from time to time, for example, when you’re editing a 4K video.

I’ve created a list of 7 laptops below that should help you run any of the 20+ apps available in the CC subscription as a whole.

Let’s dig in.

I am a huge fan of Adobe products and I know that they are not always easy on the laptop. This blog post will tell you about my personal recommendations for laptops that can run their creative cloud applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.

1. ASUS ROG Strix G15 – Best Laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud

My Top Pick
ASUS ROG Strix G15
  • Intel Core i7-10750H CPU
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • RGB Keyboard
  • WiFi 6
  • 240Hz FHD display

The ASUS ROG Strix G15 is a superior gaming machine with the requirements for Adobe CC surpassing its normal values by manifolds. If you have the funds for it, I dearly recommend this one. BUT only buy it if you consider working plugged-in for extended hours because the battery does not fair well.

The Intel Core i7-10750H is the powerhouse of this laptop. It has the capacity to easily beat any desktop running with an i7-9000s or 2080 for that matter. Whether it is gaming or graphically intense work like your next UI project, the CPU does not shy away from giving its full performance with its 12 threads and 6 cores.

Chrome usually uses 1 thread and the rest are free for other programs. So, to sum up, this CPU will run your CC apps like a breeze. No lagging. No delay in opening. Thanks to its 12,506 CPU Mark according to CPUbenchmark.com, which places it above the likes of AMD Ryzen 5 4500U.

Coupled with that are the 16GB DDR4 RAM and a whopping 1TB SSD — frankly, both of these are more than enough to run your apps with a gazillion Chrome windows.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 is capable of running AAA titles, won’t it run Adobe Premiere Pro when you’re editing a 4K video? It certainly would.

That should be the case in the morning and night because it has an RGB keyboard that is responsive. However, I did find the travel time of keys too much for an ordinary typist. The trackpad returns no problems, only that it is a bit small and the mouse keys are too clicky. There’s no Numpad!

But all of those things really don’t matter when you really have to use an external keyboard and mouse. Why? Because of its battery. You get optimal performance only for around 3 hours on battery. Turning on the laptop’s dedicated Turbo mode will be a mistake during that.

Obviously, it is a gaming laptop, it has fans that can cope with building heat albeit being super noisy.

So, to sum up, I’d say again, buy this laptop only if you have the budget or if you can work with that kind of battery power.

Strength
  • Built for any kind of work and game
  • Awesome keyboard
  • Good audio
  • Good built quality
  • Rich display panel
Weakness
  • No such cons found

2. Razer Blade 15 – Best Laptop for Adobe CC

Runner up
Razer Blade 15
  • Intel Core i7-10750H CPU
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512TB SSD
  • RGB Keyboard
  • WiFi 6
  • 240Hz FHD OLED display

The Razer Blade 15 is a beast of a laptop and would be the perfect creation for Adobe Creative Cloud. The specs of the Razer Blade 15 make it an ideal laptop for creative professionals — just like ASUS ROG Strix G15.

Basically, the specs of both of these laptops are nearly the same with the exception of the SSD and LCD panel. This laptop has an OLED screen as compared to the first one. The colors are a treat to the eyes. You should definitely take note of it, owing to your endless hours of work.

Talking about the specs, the Intel Core i7-10750H processor operates at 2.3GHz and can be overclocked to 5GHz with active cooling. The 16GB RAM will ensure that you don’t get any crashes while working on Adobe CC, and the 512GB SSD will ensure you have enough storage space for all your important files.

I’ve mentioned CPU Mark, so I’m not going to talk about that here.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 graphics card provides you with rendering power that’s on par with some desktop computers and enables ultimate creativity while using Adobe CC software. Same old. Same old.

The battery life on the Razer Blade 15 is not that impressive, but this can be to some degree compensated with the high performance of the laptop. The laptop will last about 3 hours on a single charge which is not bad for a gaming laptop. The Razer Blade 15 can also be connected to an external monitor and a keyboard-mouse combo for those long conferences and meetings.

The ports of Razor Blade 15 include 3 USB-A ports, an HDMI port, a 1.5mm audio jack, and one Thunderbolt 3 port with four lanes of PCIe. So, if you own other Razer devices such as the Deathadder Chroma mouse or any other Razer keyboard, you can connect your RGB keyboards and mice to it so they light up in sync with the laptop lid. Razor Blade is one of the best laptops for adobe Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and other heavy programs.

Looking at all these features, Razer Blade 15 is definitely-definitely the best laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud.

Strength
  • Beautiful OLED panel does not put a strain on the eyes
  • Sturdy construction
  • Wide-sized trackpad
  • Performance behemoth
Weakness
  • Poor speakers

3. ASUS Zenbook 15 – Best Laptop for Creatives

Best Value
ASUS ZenBook 15
  • Intel Core i7-10510U CPU
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1TB SSD
  • WiFi 6
  • ScreenPad 2.0 in the touchpad
  • 15.6 FHD thin-bezel screen

The Asus ZenBook 15 is a laptop that has been designed to provide the best possible performance for video editing.

It comes with a 10th generation Intel Core i7-10510U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB PCIe SSD hard drive. The CPU has an average CPU Mark of 6,887 with 8 threads and 4 cores. Together, all of these features make the laptop snappy and diligent. Yes, not too great as the first two laptops, but certainly sufficient for Adobe CC.

In fact, this is a better tradeoff when it comes to choosing a better battery timing (5 hours) over a lot of unnecessary performance.

Even its GPU isn’t all in the face. The laptop features a GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, which delivers great graphics performance to help with video rendering. You can also play decent online games at good fps such as CS: GO and DOTA 2.

So to say, the laptop will easily run Adobe Creative Cloud and other creative software without any hassle or slowdown. Besides, you can use it as a portable media center for watching movies on the go. The 15.6 inches thin-bezel screen is simply wow for that. Or you could even use it as your main computer by connecting to an external monitor. You get that and other necessary connections as well.

The keyboard on the Asus ZenBook 15 is quite comfortable to use, but it does take some time to get used to. The keys are spaced out enough that they are easy to find without having to look down. Also, the inclusion of Numpad has rendered the main QWERTY keyboard a little offset. It’s not in the middle.

Perhaps two of its most interesting features are the freedom to create shortcuts for large keyboard operations and the ScreenPad. They come in handy tremendously when you’re writing a code. Let the keyboard memorize the code you use a lot and call it with a single keystroke. When done, use the small screen below to view the result.

The laptop is undoubtedly the most portable one compared to the two above with only 3.6 lbs weight.

This unit checks all the points you need for a laptop to be super suitable for Adobe CC. Buy it only if you have the budget because it doesn’t come cheap.

Strength
  • Oh-so-beautiful design
  • Amazing 5.5 inches ScreenPad for efficient
  • multitasking
  • Soft and responsive keyboard with shortcuts
  • Just enough performance
Weakness
  • Touchpad sometimes get unresponsive after 1-2 years of use

4. Apple MacBook Pro – Best Macbook for Adobe Creative Cloud

For Mac Lovers
Apple MacBook Pro (16-Inch, 16GB RAM, 1TB Storage, 2.3GHz Intel Core i9) - Space Gray with AppleCare+ Bundle
  • Intel Core i9-9800H CPU
  • AMD Radeon Pro 5500M Graphics
  • 16-inches Retina ready HD display
  • 16GB RAM
  • 1TB Storage
  • Six speakers
  • Wi-Fi 8.2.11

Things with Apple Macbook Pro -16-inch variant go out of the roof. It has power, performance, and possibilities at a cost you might wanna rethink if you aren’t a professional graphics designer or creator who earns hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Talk about the latest Core i9 9th generation slapped on top of the motherboard. It’s truly mind-boggling that with the lightning-fast speed it can compress your HD videos in real-time and make editing them a breeze. After all, it has an average CPU Mark of 14095.

With its 2.3GHz of clocking prowess as a result of 16 threads and 8 cores, the CPU sits above all the rest of the Intel and AMD products except for AMD Ryzen 7 4800H.

With that kind of pushback, you should least expect even a minute lag when multitasking or switching between one Adobe CC app to another.

By harnessing 100% of advanced graphic processing power, this laptop can render even the most spectacular virtual worlds seamlessly for 3D design software, complicated UI/UX, and so on.

We’re talking about AMD Radeon Pro 5500M here. Its power consumption is the lowest of cards in its category, thus, making its heat output quite minimal. You can easily compare it with NVIDIA GeForce 940MX or MX150.

Apart from its speedy CPU and remarkably well-off GPU, other things to drool over is its ultra-secure Touch ID, 16-inch retina ready display that can reach up to 500 nits, and a whopping 6 speaker surround system for real-time, on-stage audio editing.

Since you’re going to spend a lot, you will definitely get better looks and better material. The case has been crafted to be sleek and matte, which helps in reducing fading and smudging. At only 4.3 pounds, it’s designed to have a smaller footprint than before so you can drag it around anywhere you want.

To sum up, this laptop has the nuts and bolts to do your heavy work in the quiet you want it to, encased in a chassis too good to be true and the unwavering Apple promise.

Strength
  • Possibly the best for audio and video editing right now with the latest CPU
  • Stunning display for easy-on-the-eyes marathon editing
  • Audio quality to be proud of
  • 11 hours of battery
Weakness
  • Expensive

5. MSI GL65 Leopard – Optimized for Creators

Beast Pick
MSI GL65 Leopard 10SFK-062 15.6
  • Intel Core i7-10750H CPU
  • RTX 2070 GPU
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512GB SSD
  • 144Hz screen
  • RGB keyboard
  • Connection gamut

I call it the “best laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud” and here’s why.

The MSI GL65 Leopard has the same CPU as ASUS ROG and Razer Balde 15. However, there’s more to it than what meets the eye.

The CPU performance is really good, as you’ve read about it. It actually surpasses many laptops with similar specs/mirror parts. I must say that performance is not one of the areas that were compromised or skimped out when MSI was designing this product.

With its 12 threads and 6 cores, you’d get pretty jacked-up horsepower. Think about opening multiple apps on your Adobe CC.

I’d particularly want you to use this laptop for video editing. The RTX 2070 GPU is super for that. It has the capability to handle 1080p HDR videos with ease, not to mention, how well it covers 4K as well. That doesn’t have to HDR for a change or even if it is, no problem. The graphics card would have no qualms working with any footage.

The other notable things include its decent keyboard, a 144Hz screen, a touchpad with no major problems, and a battery too well crafted for a gaming laptop.

You’ll find the layout of the keys in a standard configuration. However, I found it bottoming out when I pressed a key too hard or when I typed faster. With time, you’d get used to this like me, but for starts, you might wanna pull your hair.

Possibly, the 144Hz is one of its selling points. It makes gaming and heavy tasks look so smooth as it has a 3ms response time. That is pretty much lag-free. It also stays away from bleeding, which can be a problem for most laptops of this caliber. Plus, the color accuracy is right at the point.

The touchpad is responsive. The only hiccup I noticed was how it gets into your way when you’re typing. Disable the tapping when you’re typing. That’s the solution.

Downsides include noisy fans, strange positions of USB ports, and heaviness.

Strength
  • Powerful built and performance
  • Absolutely stunning screen
  • Beautiful RGB keyboard
  • Reliable
  • Good battery for a gaming laptop (5 hours of light work)
Weakness
  • Poor audio

6. Acer Predator Helios – Best Budget Laptop For Adobe Creative Cloud

Smooth Editing
Acer Predator Helios 300 Gaming Laptop, Intel Core i7-9750H, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, 15.6
  • Intel Core i7-9750H CPU
  • NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti GPU
  • 16GB RAM
  • 512 SSD
  • 144Hz Screen
  • RGB Keyboard

The Acer Predator Helios 300 is pretty much another gaming laptop with computing power enough to run your Adobe CC.

The Intel Core i7-9750H combined with the prowess of NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti provides the laptop with some really good single and multi-threaded performance. Multitaskers who want the smooth performance of heavy rendering workflows like video editing and 3D rendering should consider this one without a second thought.

All of that is confirmed by a CPU Mark of 11264 and 12 threads and 6 cores. I haven’t even mentioned its turbo clocking speed of 4.5 GHz — oh.

Talking about NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti, it is a mid-range GPU that has the ability to run AAA titles on mid settings at 1080p. Anything above it seriously degrades the fps. For Adobe CC’s 3D modeling software that does complex UI/UX computing, this much graphics processing is enough.

Obviously, the 16GB RAM has its input when it comes to snappy performance. There’s even a 512GB SSD for your Adobe suite apps to get installed in a jiffy.

With all these features, you’d expect the keyboard to be just about right, but it is perfect. You get all the right key travel for fast typing and response. There’s a dedicated Numpad and of course, the keyboard is RGB.

The speakers are just average. Nothing too good there. Although they get pretty loud at max volume, that doesn’t sound promising. It seems Acer has built them to satisfy those who aren’t audiophiles.

Gaming laptops are notorious for their battery timing. It is obvious from the fact that they cope up with running the likes of the graphics card installed in this laptop. However, you still get 3 hours of battery juice when unplugged. That should do your emergency tasks just about right.

With all these features and a 144Hz screen that means business, the laptop is well over suitable for your design and creativity. Go for it.

Strength
  • Lightweight for its features
  • Immersive 144Hz screen
  • Wi-Fi 6 for killer internet speed
  • Solid built
  • Solid performance
Weakness
  • Battery life is low

7. ROG Zephyrus G15 – Best Windows Laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud

Budget Pick
ROG Zephyrus G15 (2020) Ultra Slim Gaming Laptop, 15.6” 144Hz FHD, GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS, 16GB DDR4, 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, Windows 10, GA502IU-ES76
  • AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS CPU
  • NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti GPU
  • 16GB RAM DDR4
  • 1TB SSD
  • 144Hz bezel-less screen
  • RGB keyboard

The ROG Zephyrus G15 has to be the high-end laptop for Adobe Creative Cloud. Why? Because of its processor.

We’re talking about the AMD Ryzen 7 4800H CPU with a CPU Mark of 19,164, according to CPUbenchmark.net. That’s above the Apple M1 8 Core 3200 MHz and Intel Core i7 8th, 9th, and 10th generations. With its 16 threads and 8 cores, expect a performance of 2.9GHz clock speed that reaches all the way up to 4.2 GHz.

What does that mean for a graphics designer or a creator like you? Plenty of rendering power for 3D animations, multiple app launches, and browsing without a pipsqueak of a lag. Any professional creator should well over agree to its might and buy it asap.

Read more if you have to.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti joins hands with the CPU to process graphics that require a mighty push. Besides compressing 4K video in real-time and editing it, you could also casually play AAA titles in mid settings at 1080p.

All of that will be supported by its 16GB RAM and that too, DDR4 — blazing-fast multitasking at hand. The 1TB SSD is a welcomed addition at this price. For the type of heavy work you do, this much SSD should be more than enough. Store hundreds of your files, mockups, animations, and so on.

The laptop’s 144Hz FHD screen is the best on any laptop of this range. With a plethora of display settings like AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-Sync, and Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB), your work would seem more of an artwork than a burden — which frankly it is. There’s also adaptive sync technology used to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. How’s that?

In other noteworthy things, the keyboard is just simply awesome. The feel, response, and layout does indicate a laptop of awesome caliber.

As it goes with gaming laptop batteries, this one too does not farewell. You’d hardly get a battery juice of 3 hours with this. But that’s when you’re doing really heavy work. Normal work would extend it to around 5 hours. Still not too good.

Strength
  • Lightweight for its features
  • Immersive 144Hz screen
  • Wi-Fi 6 for killer internet speed
  • Solid built
  • Solid performance
Weakness
  • GPU could have been higher
  • Mediocre speakers

Conclusion

Buying a dedicated laptop for Adobe CC is a no-brainer. You have to consider the top-of-the-line models because using any of the 20+ apps in the suite requires a lot of computing power. A good CPU, at least 10th gen, GPU that could render intensive graphics, DDR4 RAM, and at least 512GB of SSD should do the job.

I’ve listed laptops above that have all of those. But I’d recommend you buy the one that also has a better screen for the sake of saving your eyes.

Go on and pick any from the list of best laptops for Adobe Creative Cloud in 2022. You’d thank me later.
